Directorate of Energy organises one-day conference on ‘Investment Bazaar for Energy Efficiency’
The program started with the traditional process of lighting the lamp by the Chief Guest and other dignitaries present on the dais. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Er. D.P. Gupta, Chief Engineer, Directorate of Energy (DoE) highlighted the importance of energy conservation in industries. He also encouraged doing other such programs.
Ms. Vinita Kanwal, Director, BEE informed about the schemes of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) Government of India (GoI) for financial assistance for energy conservation.
Other prominent dignitaries who were part of the inaugural session were Deputy Chief Engineer Er. Manoj Kumar, Deputy Chief Engineer Er. Deepak Jasrotia, Deputy Chief Engineer Er. Anshul Sharma, Er. Vishal Sr. Executive Engineer, Mr. Neeraj Dhingra, A.E.A. PTC India Limited and Dr. C S Azad, Advisor Energy Efficiency Financing, Society of Energy Engineers and Managers.
More than 95 persons from Designated Consumers, MSMEs, Banks/Financial Institutions, ESCOs, the Hotel Industry, DISCOMs, SIDBI, Banks, building experts and associations were physically present and 15-20 people participated online in the event. Bankable projects and case studies were presented during this Investment Bazaar Conference wherein banks showed their interest in financing bankable projects.
