2021: 67 cases
2022: 74 cases
2023: 54 cases
Inquest Proceedings under Section 174 CrPC (related to suicides):
2021: 850 cases
2022: 692 cases
2023: 669 cases
The data demonstrates a significant decrease in the number of suicides and related inquest proceedings over the last three years. This decline is attributed to the proactive and preventive strategies implemented by the Himachal Pradesh Police.
