Rs 15 Cr Sanctioned For Up Gradation And Maintenance Of Roads- Vikramaditya Singh

Says Rs 50 Cr Released For Machinery

Shimla, 09th February, 2024. Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh said here today that an amount of Rs 15 crore has been sanctioned for maintenance of roads and other works in various districts. Under this, Rs 3 crore has been sanctioned for the Bagchaal to Talai via Kalol road in Hamirpur district. A sum of Rs 3 crore for tarring and strengthening of Sainj-Chopal-Nerwa-Fediz road in district Shimla, a sum Rs 3 crore for Manpur to Seraj road in district Mandi, Rs 3 crore each for up gradation of Dhameta to Barsar road and Badsar to Shahtalai road in district Hamirpur.

Vikramaditya Singh said that under the Chief Minister Urban Livelihood Guarantee Mission, administrative approval has been given to provide an amount of around Rs 1.74 crore for various urban local bodies. He said that apart from this, an amount of Rs 50 crore has also been released for machinery and equipment etc.

He said that the state government was committed to the development of road infrastructure and appropriate funds were being released from time to time by the government to strengthen the road infrastructure and other bridges and building works.
