L/Ct. Anju Is An Inspiration To All The Citizens & Aspirants

Shimla, 27th January, 2024. On 16-01-2024, Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has released a press note regarding selection of 30 Candidates in the cadre of Himachal Pradesh Finance & Accounts Service as Section Officer for undergoing training at HIPA. It is a matter of proud and privilege to the HP Police Department that out of 30 selected candidates, 10 numbers of police personnel have been selected.

Lady Constable Anju Narta No. 536, District Shimla who hails from Koti, Chopal, District Shimla was one the officials who had cleared the Mains Examination and will undergo training at HIPA before getting appointment as Section Officer in Department of Treasuries, Accounts and Lotteries, Finance Department. She joined the Police Department in the year 2018 as Constable and remained posted at 5th IRBn, Bassi, District Bilaspur before District Shimla.

She was one of the officials who was involved in the rescue operation held on dated 05-04-2022 when a HRTC Bus caught with an accident while returning back to Shimla nearby Pandoh, District Mandi. L/Ct. Anju was deputed for Prison Escort Duty during which she also faced the accident and got severe injuries. During the accident she got a knee fracture and in consequences of which she then had gone through an open knee surgery and remained on Medical Rest for almost 6-7 months.

Besides all these challenges and difficulties, she never loses her hope for being a successful person. She regularly boosted her morale and kept preparing for Himachal Pradesh Finance & Accounts (HPF&AS) along with her regular treatment and hospital visits. She is an inspiration to all the citizens and aspirants who loses hope and also to those who have excuses for their life goals. DGP-HP and all ranks of Himachal Pradesh Police congratulate L/Ct. Anju for her great achievement and wishes them a good health, bright and illustrious career ahead.
